Home To All

Home is the most fundamental social structure in human societies. With our highly atomized contemporary society, moving from place to place with increasing frequency, the conceptual form of "home" is probably different from that of the past. The meaning in defining a home is also no longer the same as the traditional values deeply rooted in the past.

Thus, Public art must figure out how different people think and feel and live different lives together from various cultural and social levels, so that Taipei may continue to be home to all, allowing the world family - youth, seniors and young children, the disadvantaged, and immigrants – to settle down and live in Taipei. And we must also change the way we consume resources and harm the natural environment, and enable Taipei to transform into a home in which we coexist and prosper with other living beings in nature.
